I grew up in Boston, where I went to public school until I graduated high school. I went to college at Yale, where I studied environmental engineering. At Yale I was on the ski team. I love to be outside, whether I am hiking, running, surfing, or walking my dog. My favorite book is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and my cooking specialty is pie. I love working as an educator, whether in the form of outdoor education, field science, or tutoring. I know from firsthand experience that a good instructor can make or break a learning experience for a student, and I want to help students succeed by providing clear and helpful instruction.
